Airvana appoints Jay Hilbert as head of Global Sales

Small cell solutions vendor Airvana has appointed Jay Hilbert as head of Global Sales and Business Development.

Hilbert will be responsible to develop and expand relationships with mobile network operators, distribution channel partners and enterprises.

Prior to joining Airvana, Hilbert was the senior VP of global sales and service at Cambium Networks, where he was responsible for bringing in five of the world’s top ten wireless services providers as customers and driving double-digit revenue growth.

Richard Lowe, CEO of Airvana, said: “Mobile operator interest in our OneCell Cloud RAN small cell system is growing, and now it’s more important than ever to build on this interest.”
