Huawei offers 2GB free data with 3G Wi-Fi dongles and Mi-Fi devices

Telecom equipment vendor Huawei has joined hands with Reliance Communications to offer 2GB of free 3G data on Huawei’s new 3G Wi-Fi dongles and 3G Mi-Fi devices.

Customers need to activate the device with a Reliance SIM card with a dongle FRC (First Recharge) to get additional 2GB of 3G data access on both Mobi-Fi E5220 & Power-Fi E8231.

These devices connect up to 10 devices simultaneously.

P Sanjeev, sales director, Huawei Device India, said: “People are consuming content on the go, especially in the form of videos in cars, hotels, at homes & in offices on a variety of connected devices.”

Huawei has sold over 1 million data cards over the last 18 months in the open market. Huawei is leading he data cards market in India, ahead of ZTE.

Gurdeep Singh, CEO, Consumer Business, Reliance Communications, said: “With this offer, users of Huawei Wi-Fi devices will enjoy 3G connectivity to browse, watch videos and stream music.”
