China Telecom expands LTE hybrid network trial to 41 cities

China Telecom today said it will expand its LTE hybrid network trial to 41 cities by adding one more city Jiaxing of Zhejiang province.

The trial expansion will allow China Telecom to address the 4G LTE network service needs of the inaugural World Internet Conference.

China Telecom, which competes with China Mobile and China Unicom, has received the permission from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC to expand the LTE hybrid network trial footprint.
