MTS selects StreamWIDE to renew call completion services

StreamWide has entered into an agreement with Mobile
TeleSystems (MTS), a telecom service provider in Russia and the CIS.

As per the deal, StreamWide‘s
solutions designed to revitalize an operator’s call completion product line
will be used by Mobile TeleSystems.

The deal will initially address MTS subscribers with
voicemail and missed call alert services and should extend to visual voicemail
and other innovative services in the coming months.

“We are glad to initiate a long-term relationship
with StreamWIDE and explore innovative service offerings jointly,” said
Marc Sommer, Product & Innovations Director Mobile TeleSystems.

MTS will benefit from StreamWIDE Messaging, the company’s
carrier-grade, IP-based multi-tenant platform that is able to address different
market segments with adapted call completion solutions such as voicemail,
visual voicemail, missed call alert, reachability alert, unified messaging,
convergent mailboxes as well as business-driven services such as auto-attendant,
call screening or fax to email.

“StreamWIDE estimates there is large revenue
potential to leverage in the call completion area in the Russian mobile market
and we’re eager to help MTS monetize it,” said Philippe Besseyre des
Horts, vice president Sales at StreamWIDE.

StreamWIDE applications are integrated within MTS network
by Technoserv, the largest Russian company dedicated to telecoms systems
integration, IT services, and creation of engineering facilities.

StreamWIDE recently positioned itself on the innovation
forefront by implementing advanced capabilities on its messaging platform
including an end-to-end visual voicemail offering for Android phones, a series
of enhanced greetings features and the support for virtualization.

Mobile TeleSystems recently announced
the deployment of Flash Networks’ Harmony Mobile Internet Services Gateway to
optimize the volume of mobile data traffic.

With this deployment, MTS is able to reduce content and
web page download times and increase mobile Internet speed.
