Alcatel Lucent Israel names new CEO

Alcatel Lucent Israel announced that its CEO Yair Pecht
is leaving the company after four years to run a start-up. He will be replaced
by Haim Teichholtz, CEO of Mobilitech, an Alcatel Lucent SA subsidiary.

Pecht will stay on Alcatel Lucent Israel’s board and
advise Teichholtz over the coming year.

Pecht put Alcatel Lucent Israel back on the Israeli
telecommunications equipment map, following the company’s severe crisis. During
his term the company won several contracts from Israeli carriers, including
Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication and its mobile subsidiary Pelephone
Communications, HOT Telecommunication Systems, Cellcom Israel, and Orange
franchisee Partner Communications.
