European MVNO Expands Capacity and Services with DIGITALK

Moreminutes’ LlamaYA Movil is one of the fastest growing MVNO services in Europe. Leveraging the DIGITALK Prepaid Mobile platform, it has reported 15-20 percent average growth in traffic per month, and an overall 200 percent increase predicted in 2011.

Moreminutes has significantly expanded capacity on the DIGITALK solution and is now extending its service scope to include mobile internet and multimedia messaging (MMS) services.

In April 2009, Moreminutes became an MVNO in Spain to offer prepaid international mobile calling. DIGITALK’s  Prepaid Mobile solution was selected to create flexible prepaid products and price plans, to support Moreminutes’ specific marketing promotions, and for the full deployment and integration services from DIGITALK, as well as the scalability of the solution.

Moreminutes is leading the market as Europe’s fastest growing prepaid international MVNO, significantly expanding capacity with DIGITALK. In collaboration with Moreminutes’ mobile network partner, DIGITALK is deploying support for mobile internet and MMS services, providing a comprehensive range of mobile services to their subscribers.

The success is in reading the market. We saw that our traditional calling card business had reached its peak but knew we had to offer more. The opportunity to develop Moreminutes as an MVNO was ambitious as we were one of the first to try this, but it shows that being an early adopter is paying off. We’re very happy with the DIGITALK platform, and they have been a reliable partner throughout”,  said Daniel Najjar, service director of Moreminutes.

The MVNO space is an extremely exciting one. We always strive to provide complete solutions for all our customers to remove the headaches and worries of introducing new services, so considering the pioneering visions of Moreminutes at such an early stage of the market development we had our work cut out. It’s a tremendous accolade to be part of this success”, said Justin Norris, CEO of DIGITALK.
