Samsung GALAXY Note II priced at Rs 39,900 in India

Telecom Lead India: Samsung Electronics has launched GALAXY Note II.

The price of Galaxy Note II is Rs 39,900 in India.

In the U.K., the 16GB device is priced at £528 inclusive of VAT.

According to Asim Warsi, vice president – Samsung India, India is one of the first few markets where the Note II is being launched.

Its shipping date for U.S. Cellular is marked for the end of October. It will ship in Middle East, Europe and Asia in the same month.

The phone is expected to be made available in the U.K., on October 1 through the Samsung Brand Store at Westfield, Stratford City and other leading sales channels in the country.

“The Galaxy Note II offers creative possibilities and opens up productivity to everybody.  It’s easy and fun to use and allows users to express themselves with almost no boundaries,” said BD Park, president & CEO, South West Asia, Samsung Electronics.

In August this year, Samsung expanded the Note category with the addition of GALAXY Note 800.

Samsung GALAXY Note II helps users unleash their creativity by letting them discover information faster, capture ideas, and express them in a more organized and efficient manner.

The Galaxy Note II is being made available at Samsung Smartphone Cafes, Samsung Plazas, select large format stores commencing next week and will be available at all mobile outlets and large format retail stores thereafter.

Galaxy Note II is being launched with a zero per cent finance offer available at Samsung Smartphone Cafes and Samsung Plazas.
