Axiata and Airtel to combine business in Sri Lanka

Bharti Airtel and Axiata Group have decided to combine operations of their respective subsidiaries: Bharti Airtel Lanka with Dialog in Sri Lanka.
Dialog Axiata Sri LankaAirtel will have a stake in Dialog, representing the fair value of Airtel Lanka. Airtel would accordingly be issued new shares in Dialog upon completion of the transaction.
