Huawei unveils Ascend G300 and Y200 smartphones

Telecom Lead India: Huawei Device has launched the Ascend
G300 and Y200 smartphones for the Indian market.

 

The feature-rich Ascend G300 is the 1st product
of Huawei’s  Ascend G” Series. The smartphone boasts 4.0-inch WVGA
IPS hard screen technology with anti figure print design.

 

Powered with 1GHz CPU and Android 2.3 operating system,
the Ascend G300 offers access to Google Play, along with pre-installed features
including Facebook, Twitter, a digital compass and FM Radio.

 

The smartphone has a 5-megapixel-auto focus
camera. The company claims that Ascend G300 takes less than 120 minutes to
get fully charged with high power charger.

 

The Huawei Ascend G300 is priced at Rs 13490.

 

On the other hand, Huawei Ascend Y200 comes with
large 8.9cm (3.5″) IPS touch screen which enables comfortable viewing for
browsing, media & social networking.

 

Ascend Y200 is powered with Qualcomm 800MHz and runs on
Android 2.3 system that brings features such as Optimized dictionary, New UI
and improved power management.

 

The company claims that Ascend Y200 takes only 90 minutes
to get fully charged with high power charger and takes 5 seconds for boot up.

 

Ascend Y200 Dual-Mic which reduces the background noise,
giving users good calling experience. The smartphone is equipped with a 1250mAh
battery comes at a price of Rs 8190.

Huawei India announces mobile phone and datacard growth
strategy

 

Huawei India recently announced mobile phone and datacard
expansion strategy.

 

The Chinese telecom equipment and smartphone maker, as
part of its growth strategy in the Indian mobile market, will strengthen its
smart phone and datacard businesses. It will study further the tablet market
before committing to launch more tablets.
