Jio shines by adding 6.49 lakh mobile phone users in August

Reliance Jio added over 6.49 lakh mobile phone subscribers in August and Bharti Airtel gained over 1.38 lakh, while Vodafone Idea lost over 8.33 lakh subscribers and BSNL lost 61,778 connections.
Jio for VoLTE serviceReliance Jio has 44.38 crore mobile phone customers. Bharti Airtel has 35.41 crore users.

Vodafone Idea has over 27.10 crore mobile phone users in August.

BSNL has a subscriber base of 11.42 crore.

TRAI received over a 1.12 crore subscriber requests for mobile number portability (MNP) in August.
