China Mobile today revealed that it has added 6.736 million 5G subscribers in January 2019.
China Mobile has a 4G subscriber base of 757.844 million. China Mobile’s total mobile subscriber base reached 949.415 million in January 2019.
The largest telecom operator in the world said 5G package customers are mobile customers (excluding IoT customers) who have subscribed to 5G tariff plans. Customers sharing 5G tariff plans without subscription are not included, China Mobile said.
