Airtel to demo live 5G network at IMC 2019

Bharti Airtel today announced that it will demonstrate live 5G network and digital solutions for smart businesses and smart cities at the upcoming India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2019.
Airtel annual report 2017-18Airtel will demonstrate 5G network user experience at India’s flagship telecommunications industry event. Airtel will be the first Indian telecom operator to showcase a live 5G network in the country.

Airtel will demo pre-5G technologies such as Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) which will enable the telecom operator to tap emerging business segments such as smart homes, smart cities and smart factories.

Airtel is India’s market leader in the enterprise connectivity space and serves over 2000 large businesses and 500,000 medium and small businesses.

Airtel will showcase industrial applications for smart factories, innovations for the IoT space, data centres that will help businesses leverage cloud, drive deep analytics and deliver a great digital experience to their customers.

Airtel’s network infrastructure and cloud solutions bring to life smart city solutions such as adaptive traffic control system, city wide surveillance, pollution check, traffic enforcement system, street lighting and smart signage across the city.
