Airtel beats Vodafone to become market leader in IoT segment

Bharti Airtel has become the market leader in India’s fast-growing Enterprise IoT segment as per Frost & Sullivan.

The Indian IoT market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8.8 percent moving from 2020 TO 2023. Airtel is the market leader in the Cellular IoT space holding a 45.5 percent market share, said Abhinav Kumar, Consultant, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Practice, Frost & Sullivan.

Airtel IoT supports over 6 million managed IoT connections, including solutions like industrial asset monitoring, smart metering and vehicle telematics with an innovative approach to building IoT solutions.

MG Motor, Pine Labs, Paytm, Kirloskar, BSES, Genus, Kent, Black Buck, Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation and Odisha Power Transmission Company are among the enterprises that are already using Airtel’s IoT solutions.
