Vodafone India said expanded its 4G services – on IP network with the support of fiber backhaul – is now available in 311 towns in UP East.
In a statement on Friday, Vodafone India said that its telecom network covers 97.08 percent of the population in the UP East circle.
Vodafone has invested INR 1,361 crore in 2016-17 to expand, modernize and build technology and energy efficient network in UP East.
Vodafone has 617 Vodafone branded stores in urban and rural areas of UP East.
“We are proud to expand Vodafone SuperNet 4G to cover 311 towns in UP East, a strong leadership market for Vodafone India. Vodafone SuperNet 4G provides higher data speeds and better coverage to our customers in cities, towns and villages in the circle,” said Nipun Sharma, business head – UP East, Vodafone India.
Major 4G operators in the UP East telecom circle are Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Reliance Jio Infocomm.
