SoftBank deploys Procera solutions to enhance LTE service

SoftBank has deployed Procera PacketLogic solutions to enhance its LTE service offerings in Japan.

With the deployment of Procera solutions, SoftBank has replaced the existing traditional analytics and assurance vendors.
SoftBank, a top 4G operator in Japan, aims to benefit from enhanced subscriber experience visibility and traditional mobile analytics.

Andy Lovit, senior vice president of Global Sales and Services at Procera, said: “Procera’s solutions enable SoftBank to see the actual experience delivered to their subscribers in real time and ensure that the experience is a good one for all subscribers.”

Procera’s Subscriber Experience analytics solutions utilize the PacketLogic Real-Time Enforcement platform to manage the subscriber experience in real time in accordance with each user’s service needs by setting policies based on applications, content, location, and other subscriber service plan attributes.
