Jio to invest $143 mn to set up data center in Kolkata

Indian telecom operator Reliance Jio is planning to invest Rs 1,000 crore or $143 million to set up a new data center in Kolkata, Economic Times reported.

The Mukesh Ambani-promoted 4G service provider is looking for 40-acres of land at Kolkata’s upcoming technology hub.

Mukesh Ambani in January said Reliance Jio would be making an investment of Rs 5,000 crore in West Bengal.
