China Mobile said it added nearly 2.5 million new 4G subscribers in May 2018.
China Mobile’s 4G subscriber base reached 671.823 million in May 2018 from 669.318 million in April and 671.745 million in March 2018.
China Unicom earlier said it added nearly two million 4G subscribers in the month of May despite competition.
China Mobile’s total mobile phone customers including 4G reached 901.917 million in May from 899.658 million in the previous month.
China Mobile said its wireline broadband customer base reached 130.448 million in May as compared with 127.098 million in April.
