Airtel hikes mobile plan rates by 20-25% targeting ARPU growth

Bharti Airtel, India’s second largest telecom operator, has increased the mobile plan rates by 20-25 percent effective from November 26, 2021.
Airtel mobile network IndiaBharti Airtel said mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) needs to be at Rs 200-300 in order to ensure a reasonable return on capital that allows for a financially healthy business model. This level of ARPU will enable the substantial investments required in 4G and 5G networks and spectrum.
