Airtel 4G LTE service reaches Ludhiana

Indian telecom service provider Bharti Airtel announced the launch of its 4G LTE services in Ludhiana.

Customers can access Airtel 4G on dongles, Wi-Fi CPEs (Customer Premise Equipment/ routers) and smartphones including Apple iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, Xolo LT 900 and LG G2 (model D802T). Except Xolo, Apple and LG LTE smartphones are costly.

While the USIM will come free with the purchase of dongle or CPE, it is available for a price of Rs 49 for mobile users, while the dongles are priced at Rs 1500 and the CPE is priced at Rs 2500.

Airtel has introduced 4G packs at Rs 999 for postpaid – mobiles, dongles and CPEs and Rs 995 for prepaid- mobiles only offering 10 GB of 4G data. For postpaid mobile customers, the plans will start at Rs 100.

The telecom operator has also installed special demo zones and kiosks at Airtel’s office at IC Tower, G-454, BRS Nagar, Ferozpur road and company owned store at Sarabha Nagar.

Airtel 4G is already available in Bangalore, Kolkatta, Chandigarh and Pune.
