VivaConnect, a mobile marketing & solutions provider, has charted three-pronged strategy for growth.
The company will focus on capacity expansion. VivaConnect will expand its voice mobility solutions capacity to 1 lakh calls per minute. At present, the company has over 800 PRI lines.
“We handle 15 million plus calls which stands largest in India,” said Vikram Raichura, managing director, VivaConnect.
Mumbai-based VivaConnect is also expanding its employee base. Last year, the mobile marketing company had 50 employees. At present, the employee base stands at 80. The company’s new facility with 6,000 sq. feet can house 150 employees.
VivaConnect is planning to hire 5-7 people per month in the next 3-8 months to meet its strategies. The hiring of resources will be in both sales and product development side.
The company is currently funded by its promoters and will be looking for private placement at a later stage.
VivaConnect is looking at overseas expansion. Presence in the Middle East region will be established soon through its channel partners. “We will also be present in top 5 mobile nations,” Raichura added.
Currently, VivaConnect is working with 1,000 customers. Out of this, 900 are SMBs and the remaining are enterprises.
VivaConnect is looking at enhancing its customer base to 500,000 in the next 5 years. 70 percent of this enhanced customer base will be from abroad.
Among SMBs, VivaConnect works with retail, small financial companies, manufacturing, NGOs, etc.
VivaConnect is currently seeing demand for mobile marketing solutions from both rural and urban India.
Some of the main customers of VivaConnect include Central Bank of India, Saraswat Bank, Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Eureka Forbes, Zee Telefilms, etc.
VivaConnect MD is the recipient of prestigious awards like Red Herring Top 100 Asia 2012, Top 100 Small Business 2011 and The Best SME (E-commerce) at CNBC Emerging India Awards 2009.
