OpenSignal has recently published several analysis reports on 4G speed on telecom networks in India, South Africa, Chile, the Netherlands, the Philippines, the U.K. and the U.S.
Speed matters on mobile networks

The 4G speed report in the UK by OpenSignal indicates that the country’s mobile phone users are getting an average 4G download speed of 28.99 Mbps on EE, 22.31 Mbps on Three, 18.94 Mbps on Vodafone and 15.02 Mbps on Telefonica O2.
The report said US wireless users are receiving 4G download speed of 17.45 Mbps on T-Mobile, 14.91 Mbps on Verizon, 12.92 Mbps on AT&T and 9.76 Mbps on Sprint.

4G reach
Globe Telecom’s 4G availability in the Philippines was 62.59 percent, while 52.71 percent was the 4G coverage done by rival Smart.
4G availability in Chile was 71.09 percent for Movistar, 64.81 percent for VOM, 63.33 percent for Entel and 57.95 percent for Claro.
The report said 4G availability in the Netherlands was 91.35 percent for Tele2, 90.72 percent for Vodafone, 90.09 percent for T-Mobile and 88.14 percent for KPN network users.
OpenSignal says 4G availability metric shows the proportion of time OpenSignal users have an LTE connection available to them on each operator’s network. It’s a measure of how often users can access a 4G network rather than a measure of geographic or population coverage.
4G availability in India was 95.59 percent for Reliance Jio, 63.66 percent for Idea Cellular, 61.7 percent for Vodafone and 57.16 percent for Airtel.
The 4G availability in South Africa was 66.29 percent for MTN, 70.11 for Vodacom, 66.29 percent for Cell C and 61.89 for Telkom.
