Telecom operators and Indian mobile subscriber base in Sept 2014

Indian telecom operators had 930.20 million mobile subscribers till September 2014, according to TRAI.

Bharti Airtel continues to lead the Indian telecom market with 22.74 percent share with 211.55 million mobile or wireless subscribers in September 2014.

Wireless Subscriber base

Vodafone is in the second position with 18.69 percent share with 173.85 million mobile users. The third player is Idea Cellular with 15.43 market share with 143.56 million subscribers. Reliance Communications has 11.84 percent with 110.12 million mobile subscribers.

BSNL with 86.72 million, Aircel 75.85 million, Tata Docomo 64.25 million, Uninor 41.82 million, MTS India 9.13 million, Videocon 5.94 million, MTNL 3.40 million, Quadrant 2.43 million, TRAI said last week.
