Vodafone sells entire 49% stake in Vodafone Fiji for £51 million

Telecom service provider Vodafone has sold its entire 49 percent stake in Vodafone Fiji to the Fiji National Provident Fund for £51 million.

Last year, Vodafone exited from the American wireless market by selling its stake in Verizon Wireless. Recently, Vodafone increased its stake in Indian telecom venture to 100 percent.

Following the cash deal, Vodafone will continue its presence in Fiji through a partner market agreement, said Vodafone.
