itel Mobile and Vodafone announced a bundle offer for itel feature phone buyers – promising a cashback of INR 900 — in select telecom circles in India.
The starting price of itel phone is INR 800 in India.
itel Mobile, a new brand in India, has 19 percent market share in India’s feature phone market. Samsung is the market leader with 22.3 percent share in feature phone market. Micromax with 9.5 percent share, Lava with 8.7 percent and Intex with 5.7 percent are the other top feature phone companies in India, according to CMR.
The new offer from itel Mobile came at a time when Reliance Jio is offering its VoLTE phone for a refundable deposit of Rs 1,500. Media reports said Reliance Jio is not getting good response from 4G subscribers for its budget VoLTE phone.
Both new as well as existing Vodafone subscribers from 25 August, 2017 to 31 October, 2017 can receive the offer by purchasing any of itel Mobile’s feature phones.
After purchasing a new feature phone, if customer recharges worth Rs 100 or more from Vodafone in a calendar month, they will get additional talk time worth Rs 50 of recharge. Cashback of Rs 50 for 18 months will sum up to INR 900.

The validity of the bundle offer is in Delhi, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujrat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, UP West, Up East, Haryana, Bihar, Orissa, Kolkata, Rest of West Bengal, Assam, North East, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh & Jammu & Kashmir.
Vodafone India offers 50 INR additional talk time every month (talk time has a validity of 30 days) till 18 months on a cumulative recharge of Rs 100 every month.
