Vodafone India offers video-on-demand service HOOQ

Vodafone Play
Vodafone India will be offering video-on-demand service HOOQ to its wireless users across the country – as part of its VAS strategy.

Entertainment content from Hollywood, Bollywood and local channels will be available to Vodafone India subscribers.

Vodafone Play is Vodafone’s entertainment destination for streaming of video content including Live TV, popular shows, latest movies or trending music videos.

The time spent on smartphone rose 16 percent during January – March 2017 over the previous quarter driven by a demand for social media platforms and entertainment apps.

“We find our customers are increasingly seeking enriching and diverse content options. Through our partnership with HOOQ, Vodafone has further strengthened the base of quality content on Vodafone Play,” said Dipankar Ghoshal, national head – VAS and Content, Vodafone India.
