Vodafone India names Den Networks veteran Manish Dawar as CFO

Vodafone India SIM cardsVodafone India announced the appointment of Manish Dawar as the chief financial officer as the replacement for Thomas Reisten.

Manish Dawar will report into Vodafone India CEO Sunil Sood. Vodafone India is expected to complete its merger with Idea Cellular next year.

Thomas Reisten, after completing a 4-year stint with Vodafone India, will be moving to a new senior role within the Vodafone Group.

Manish Dawar joins Vodafone from Den Networks where he was group CFO. Manish Dawar started his career with Unilever in India and moved to Reebok. Manish Dawar joined Reckitt Benckiser India as CFO and became the Group Controller in their Headquarters.

Manish Dawar has also held the position of president, CFO and ED for Konkola Copper Mines Plc, a subsidiary of Vedanta.

Manish Dawar is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and Company Secretary from ICSI, India. Manish holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with Honors from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
