Vodafone extends bill payment date by three days

Vodafone India has extended the bill payment date by three days for postpaid customers in Delhi NCR in order to assist customers who are facing challenges in accessing cash during the phase of demonetization.

Vodafone is providing small credits on both talktime and data for the benefit of pre-paid customers running out of balance.

Vodafone India is facilitating these initiatives for the convenience of both post-paid and pre-paid phone customers, as mobile customers try to cope with the challenges of accessing cash during the present demonetization phase.

Pre-paid consumers with insufficient balance can opt for the following benefits:

For Talktime – Chhota Credit of Rs 10

SMS CREDIT on the toll free number 144 and Rs 10 will be credited to your account. This comes with a service charge of Re 3 per transaction. With a validity of 7 days, it will be adjusted in your next recharge.

For Data – Internet Credit (I-Credit)

Vodafone I-Credit will allow customers to avail data services on loan, in case of emergency, or in case customer is not able to recharge. Customers can avail 30MB of data for use instantly with a validity of 24 hours. The data can be used across 2G/3G/4G networks.

To avail Internet Credit or I-CREDIT, Vodafone customers need to send an SMS ICREDIT to 144 (toll free). Customers can also send USSD short code (Option to activate both Internet and chhota credit) *130*4*2#. Once the data is credited to the customer’s account, a sum of 10 rupees is automatically deducted from customers account after 24 hours.

Vodafone India has over 200 million customers, while over 107 million is in rural areas.
