Vodafone expands retail network in Gujarat

Vodafone, the largest telecom operator in Gujarat, has now expanded its retail network in the state with the opening of two Global Design Retail Stores and 10 VMS in Surat over the past 10 days.

With this development, Vodafone now boasts 1064 outlets in Gujarat.

During FY 2014-15, Vodafone set up 16 Vodafone Stores (VS), 42 Vodafone Mini Stores (VMS) and 111 ADVMS in FY 2014-15. Of these, 112 retail touch points are in Surat city.

Jayesh Gadia, business head – Gujarat, Vodafone India, said the new Global Design Store will give a one-stop shop experience to its customers. “Whether it is Surrey in UK or Surat, Vodafone Global Design Stores offer a uniform customer experience,” Gadia added.

Vodafone presently has 12,700 sites across Gujarat (8100+ 2G sites & 4600+ 3G sites), covering 94.4 percent of the population and 100 percent census town coverage.
