Videocon Telecom Q3 revenue surges 53% to Rs 489 crore

Videocon Telecom on Tuesday said it achieved 53 percent revenue growth in Q3 2014-15 to Rs 489 crore.

The revenue came from Videocon Telecom’s GSM business, NLD/ILD and Punjab wire-line business.

Videocon Telecom has a subscriber base of 9 million across its 4 operating circles in the third quarter of fiscal 2015.

The Indian telecom service provider grew its minutes of usage by approx 30 percent in Q3 2014-15.

Mobile data revenue rose 113 percent, while growth improvement in realization per GB was 30 percent.

Videocon Telecom posted 19 percent increase in its GRPM (Gross rate per min).

The company is aiming revenue of Rs 2,000 crore during the current financial year.

Arvind Bali, director and CEO, Videocon Telecom, said: “The growth this quarter can be attributed to many factors including organic growth in subscriber base & minutes of usage, and our focus on data penetration & usage, GRPM, ARPU and Usage and retention focus.”
