Videocon Telecom offers 18% salary hike

Videocon Telecom today announced average salary hike of 18 percent for its workforce in India.

Videocon Telecom also announced lucrative employee engagement incentive and retention bonuses for its employees.

The telecom has spent over Rs 5 crore on its reward and recognition event to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on April 4, 2015.

Videocon Telecom is flying more than 600 employees from across departments, verticals and circles for a 5-day trip to Pattaya and Bangkok. Next financial year’s annual event on reward and recognition will be held in Europe.

The company is also hiring professionals for its business operations including services in three circles such as Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West and Bihar / Jharkhand and rollout of 4G services.

“Competition is fierce in this dynamic industry and thus we have to keep our best resources closer. These initiatives go a long way in building up employee confidence in the organization,” said Arvind Bali, director and CEO, Videocon Telecom.
