Verizon, Time Warner Cable team up to deliver incentives and joint services in Maine

Telecom Lead America: Verizon Wireless and Time Warner
Cable have teamed up to offer better choice, value and convenience to new and
existing customers in their wireless and entertainment packages in Maine.

The joining together of products and services from Time
Warner Cable and Verizon Wireless into a single offer provides customers more
choice, convenience and greater value,”  said Paul Schonewolf, area vice
president, Operations at Time Warner Cable.

 

The new association will enable customers in Portland,
Augusta, Bangor, Waterville, Brunswick, Auburn and Presque Isle to purchase
packages of Time Warner Cable video, Internet and voice services and Verizon
Wireless smartphones and tablets.

 

Furthermore, customers in these regions may be eligible
to receive a Visa prepaid debit card valued up to $200.

 

Our joint marketing with Time Warner Cable is built upon
the belief that wireless, communications and entertainment are all essential
services in the lives of our mutual customer bases,” said Christine Berberich,
president of Verizon Wireless New England.

 

Markets launching today include cities in Maine and
Nebraska.

 

Time Warner Cable and Verizon Wireless have also begun
these joint marketing initiatives in cities in Alabama, Kansas, North Carolina,
Ohio, South Carolina and Wisconsin.

 

Both companies expect to launch these packages and
services in additional Time Warner Cable-served communities in the coming
months.

 

Customers can select their combination of services from a
range of offers that include video, Internet, home phone and mobile service.

 

Time Warner Cable’s Ultimate Internet and
SignatureHome are also available packaged with a Verizon Wireless offer.

 

Verizon to cover more than 400 U.S. LTE 4G markets in 2012

 

Recently, Verizon Wireless announced that it will meet
its goal of covering more than 400 U.S. markets by the end of 2012.
