Verizon introduces 4G LTE Private Network for Virtual Office Access

Verizon
American telecom network operator Verizon announced Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunking over its 4G LTE Private Network intended for enterprises.

The company said that it aims to give out wireless features like business-class voice quality, business continuity – assisting enterprise to control communications costs.

“Today’s competitive environment requires that companies be able to react quickly to changing market demands,” said Tom Dalrymple, director, IP Communications, Verizon Enterprise Solutions.

Verizon said its 4G LTE Private Network Traffic Management has been teamed along with Private IP MPLS VPN service. Turning up additional VoIP connections has added the ability to accelerate time-to-market. Verizon 4G LTE Private Network can act as primary or backup to combine the communication to a single platform or virtual network.

Enterprises can cut down on the cost involved in communication wherever the cost of a fixed access line is beyond limits by the use of shared MPLS ports and committed access rate bandwidth across all sites, similar to that of traditional wired networks.

This enterprise mobility offer is suited for temporary, low-usage or seasonal businesses such as retail, finance, or healthcare where new locations have to be instantly accessed.

Verizon with $132 billion revenue has about 112 million retail connections nationwide in its wireless network, and is also providing communications and entertainment services over fiber-optic network, and integrated business solutions to its customers.

To enable UCCaaS consumers to place high quality voice and video calls from Verizon Wireless smartphones and tablets, the New York based company had previously introduced UCCaaS Mobile First, powered by Verizon’s 4G LTE Private Network Traffic Management, claiming to offer seamless connection.
