Q4 2025

Telia Sweden

Telia Sweden announced an initiative to significantly improve mobile coverage in remote areas across 71 municipalities. In January, Telia’s mobile network was ranked the best in Sweden for the sixth consecutive year in umlaut’s 2025 benchmark. Telia launched an innovation project with partners to enhance traffic infrastructure and, through Telia Cygate, established a new AI-focused organization. The new unit is designed to deliver secure, compliant AI services with data processed entirely within Sweden.

Mobile postpaid subscriptions excluding M2M fell by around 4,000. Broadband subscriptions rose by approximately 14,000, supported by fiber and FWA growth that more than offset copper losses. Demand for Telia’s TV services remained strong, adding about 32,000 customers.

Revenue increased 1.9 percent to SEK 9,457 million in Q4, as service revenue growth across Consumer, Enterprise and Operator segments outweighed lower equipment sales. Service revenue rose 4.8 percent, driven mainly by higher TV, business solutions and other service revenue, reflecting increased demand for secure, mission- and business-critical services. Full-year revenue reached SEK 36,082 million.

Capex excluding spectrum and leases increased to SEK 1,445 million, up from SEK 1,296 million a year earlier.

Average revenue per user stood at SEK 24 for mobile postpaid, SEK 344 for broadband and SEK 259 for TV.

Telia Finland

Telia Finland’s TV service Telia Play achieved the highest customer satisfaction rating in Finland, ranking clearly ahead of both domestic operators and international streaming platforms in the EPSI Rating 2025 survey. Telia also strengthened its broadband position by signing an agreement to acquire around 10,000 consumer fiber subscriptions from GlobalConnect, to be transferred in the coming quarter. Competitive intensity in the mobile market remained high, with two new MVNO entrants during the year.

Mobile postpaid subscriptions excluding M2M declined by around 24,000, mainly due to losses in mobile and mobile broadband subscriptions in the consumer segment. Broadband subscriptions fell by approximately 6,000, entirely due to a clean-up of inactive subscriptions, while TV subscriptions increased by about 3,000.

Revenue declined 0.9 percent to SEK 3,850 million, as higher equipment sales were more than offset by lower service revenue. Service revenue decreased 3.3 percent to SEK 3,229 million, driven equally by lower mobile and fixed service revenue. The decline in mobile service revenue was mainly due to lower other mobile service revenue, while fixed service revenue fell largely because of reduced business solutions revenue linked to the ongoing ramp-down of the e-invoicing business.

Capex excluding spectrum and leases decreased to SEK 402 million, down from SEK 481 million a year earlier.

Average revenue per user was EUR 19.7 for mobile postpaid, EUR 11.8 for broadband and EUR 7.1 for TV.

Telia Norway

Telia Norway completed the shutdown of its 2G network and secured a collective tender to deliver secure and resilient connectivity services to 19 municipalities and 14 public enterprises in eastern Norway. Telia also began rolling out a new digital signaling system for the Oslo Metro in partnership with public transport operator Sporveien and Siemens Mobility. The solution, the first in Europe to use a commercial mobile network, enables more accurate train positioning than traditional systems.

Mobile postpaid subscriptions excluding M2M declined by around 10,000, with losses evenly split between the consumer and enterprise segments. Broadband subscriptions fell by approximately 2,000, while TV subscriptions declined by about 1,000.

Revenue decreased 0.6 percent to SEK 3,418 million, mainly due to lower service revenue. Service revenue fell 0.8 percent to SEK 2,905 million, as a 2.8 percent decline in mobile service revenue driven by lower wholesale revenue more than offset 4.2 percent growth in fixed service revenue. Fixed service revenue growth was supported by higher broadband and TV revenues following price adjustments.

Capex excluding spectrum and leases decreased to SEK 534 million, down from SEK 656 million a year earlier.

Average revenue per user was NOK 289 for mobile postpaid, NOK 261 for broadband and NOK 318 for TV.

Telia Lithuania Q4 Performance and Key Developments

During the quarter, Telia Lithuania became the first operator in the country to launch 5G standalone for consumer customers, enabling users to reserve dedicated network capacity and benefit from higher speeds, stability and security even during peak hours. Telia also expanded its TV offering by launching apps for LG and Samsung smart TVs in addition to Android, eliminating the need for external hardware. The company was also the first operator in Lithuania to receive the ISO 50001 energy management system certification, highlighting its high level of energy efficiency.

Mobile postpaid subscriptions excluding M2M increased by around 5,000 during the quarter. Broadband subscriptions declined by approximately 3,000, while TV subscriptions were broadly flat.

Revenue grew 7.0 percent to SEK 1,552 million, mainly driven by higher service revenue and partly by increased equipment sales. Service revenue rose 6.7 percent to SEK 1,161 million, led by mobile service revenue growth of 8.1 percent, supported by both ARPU expansion and a growing customer base. Fixed service revenue increased 5.6 percent, driven by higher revenue from broadband, TV and business solutions.

Capex excluding spectrum and leases increased to SEK 256 million, up from SEK 210 million a year earlier.

Average revenue per user stood at EUR 13.2 for mobile postpaid, EUR 16.4 for broadband and EUR 13.2 for TV.

Telia Estonia

Telia Estonia’s mobile network was ranked the best in a benchmarking study conducted by Rohde and Schwarz. The company launched a new roaming service using eSIM technology, providing internet access for travelers outside the EU, and introduced an enhanced security solution for broadband customers to protect home internet traffic from scam emails, malware and phishing. Telia also hosted the sixth edition of Telia Digital Hub, Estonia’s largest management and technology conference, which attracted a record attendance of nearly 1,200 participants, including more than 900 on site.

Mobile postpaid subscriptions excluding M2M remained broadly flat during the quarter. Broadband subscriptions declined by around 2,000, while TV subscriptions fell by approximately 3,000.

Revenue increased 4.7 percent to SEK 1,088 million, mainly driven by higher service revenue and, to a lesser extent, increased equipment sales. Service revenue rose 3.2 percent to SEK 894 million, supported by a 3.1 percent increase in mobile service revenue driven by growth in both the postpaid subscriber base and ARPU. Fixed service revenue increased 3.4 percent, primarily due to higher other fixed service revenue.

Capex excluding spectrum and leases increased to SEK 213 million, up from SEK 189 million a year earlier.

Average revenue per user was EUR 12.7 for mobile postpaid, EUR 23.3 for broadband and EUR 14.7 for TV.
