Uninor introduces flat rate STV plan for Mumbai customers

Telecom Lead India: Mobile service provider Uninor has
introduced STV 49, a special tariff voucher called ‘Ek Bharat, Ek Rate’ plan
for the GSM customers in Mumbai.

The new plan comes with a validity of one month and
offers a flat rate of just 25 paise per minute on all local and STD calls.

One India and one call rate is our effort to bridge the
STD and local call gap and provide one flat rate to our customers. The initial
mindset of the public was that STD calls are always more expensive than local
and customers were judicious in making that call back home or planned it
according to the time of day. We want our customers to focus on their
conversations rather than the call charge,” said Upanga Dutta, Circle Business
Head, Uninor Mumbai.

The new plan has joined Uninor’s line of cost effective
talk plans that offer lowest call rates for Uninor to Uninor calls or Uninor to
other calls in Mumbai.

In Mumbai circle, Uninor’s total subscriber base is now
close to 15 Lakhs. The operator said that the entire range of cost effective
talk plans has helped to add the second most number of subscribers across
Mumbai with more than 34,967 new customers in May 2012.

Uninor introduces unlimited music VAS service

Recently, Uninor launched a new Value Added Service
called ‘Unlimited Music’ that offers unlimited Music at just Rs 2.50
per day.

Uninor subscribers can tune in to their favourite music,
get exciting caller tunes and much more with the VAS service- Unlimited Music.
