Telia issues bonds worth SEK 4 billion

Telecom operator Telia Company has issued bonds in four separate tranches with a total amount of SEK 4 billion, under its existing EUR 12 billion EMTN (Euro Medium Term Note) program.

The bonds are separated in two maturities with a fixed and floating tranche on each. Telia said bonds worth SEK 2 billion will be maturing in March 2026. Another set of bonds worth SEK 2 billion will be maturing in September 2028, Telia said.

The coupon of the 3-year bond was set at 4.375 percent per annum for the fixed tranche, and Mid-swaps +73 basis points for the floating tranche. The coupon of the 5.5-year bond was also set at 4.375 percent per annum for the fixed tranche, and Mid-swaps +110 basis points for the floating tranche.

“We have returned to and identified an opportunity to issue bonds in the Swedish Bond market. We are particularly pleased with the large number of investors that participated and showed interest for all the four tranches of this new transaction,” Agneta Wallmark, Telia Company Vice President & Head of Group Treasury, said.

The Joint Bookrunners mandated by Telia Company for this transaction were Danske Bank and SEB.
