Alexandra Furst will also be a member of the Group Executive Management team, effective no later than March 31, 2025.

Alexandra Furst, currently Chief Operating Officer at Dustin Group, brings a wealth of experience from leadership roles in IT and technology.

This appointment follows Telia’s change program, revealed on September 4, which includes the renaming of its Common Products & Services (CPS) unit to Technology. This unit will play a major role in enabling Telia’s operations through IT, network, and product management expertise, ensuring the company leverages economies of scale where relevant.

Alexandra Furst has background in IT leadership, having held senior roles at Lansforsakringar, Tietoevry, and as Executive Vice President of IT & Digitalisation at Dustin Group. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linkoping University.

“Her leadership and ability to leverage new technologies will be instrumental as we work to simplify and modernize Telia’s operations, driving innovation and delivering even greater value to our customers,” Telia Company’s President and CEO, Patrik Hofbauer, said.

The renaming of the CPS unit to Technology will take effect on December 1, pending the conclusion of union negotiations. Hein Muskens, currently acting Head of the unit, will continue in his role until Furst’s arrival, at which point he will report to her.
