Telenor Norway selects Accenture to modernize IT

Telenor Norway has selected Accenture to modernize its IT organization by transitioning to a cloud-based environment.
Telenor grows in AsiaTelenor aims to become a software and product driven company in order to enhance customer experience and revenue growth.

Capex of Telenor Norway was NOK 5.876 billion in 2022 vs NOK 5.515 billion in 2021, driven by driven by fibre rollout and mobile network modernisation. For the full year, the
capex to sales ratio was 23 percent.

Telenor Norway reported annual revenue of NOK 11.931 billion in 2022 as compared with NOK 11.673 billion in 2021.

By transitioning to a cloud-based environment, Telenor will also gain increased agility, scalability and speed to market for its services offerings. As a result, the company can increase the frequency of new product and service launches.

“We are supporting Telenor in their digital transformation while also developing a lasting culture of innovation,” said Torbjorn Eik-Nes, managing director of Accenture in Norway. “This will enable Telenor to stay agile and competitive in the telecommunications industry.”
