Telecom network operator Telenor India has posted 31 percent increase in revenue in Q3 2015 to NOK 1,411 million or $166 million.
The EBITDA margin was 7 percent.

Telenor India’s mobile subscriber base reached 40.85 million in Q3 2015 from 39.84 million in Q2 2015.
The investment of Telenor India was NOK 190 million or $23 million during the third quarter of 2015 against NOK 248 million in the previous quarter and NOK 104 million in Q1 2015.
Sigve Brekke, president and CEO of Telenor Group, admitted that the telecom network operator needs additional spectrum to boost data revenue.
Telenor India ARPU fell 12 percent to Rs 91.
Vivek Sood, CEO of Telenor (India) Communications, said: “Telenor added 1 million subscriptions in India during the third quarter. At the end of September, the subscription base was 19 percent higher than the same quarter last year.”
The Indian telecom network operator continues to build on Internet users as part of Internet for All strategy and reported 41 percent increase in data users’ year-on-year. Currently Telenor has over 22 percent of users accessing data services on its network.
