Telecom service provider Telenor has appointed Ragnar Karhus as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of Telenor Broadcast Holding and Canal Digital.
Karhus replaces Patrik Hofbauer, who was recently appointed new CEO of Telenor Sweden.
Telenor said Karhus, who comes from the position as senior vice president in Telenor Group Industrial Development, joined Telenor in 2000 and has held the position as CFO in several Telenor companies and deputy CEO of the Nordic region.
From 2007 to 2011, he served as CEO of Telenor Norway.
