This salary adjustment results from negotiations between Sunrise and the syndicom trade union. Sunrise typically follows a performance-based, individualized approach to salary adjustments, and a budget of 1.3 percent has been allocated for salary increases this year. Employees in lower hierarchical grades will receive a performance-based award along with a fixed minimum increase of 0.6 percent.

Andre Krause, CEO of Sunrise, expressed satisfaction with the wage increases, emphasizing that the company’s ambitious goals as a listed company and its strategy as an innovation leader depend on the skills, ideas, and commitment of its employees. Ensuring a sustainable trend in wage increases year after year is a priority for the company.

Daniel Hugli, head of the ICT sector at syndicom, noted that this wage agreement guarantees employees an active share in the company’s success. He pointed out that the wage increase surpasses the previous year’s inflation rate, meaning employees experience a real wage increase. This consistent wage growth results from negotiations conducted under the framework of the Collective Employment Contract and a well-established social partnership.

Financial resources have also been allocated for individualized salary adjustments for employees not covered by the Collective Employment Contract, ensuring that a broader segment of the workforce benefits from the company’s continued growth and success.
