Reliance Communications offers full length movies on its 3G network

Telecom Lead India: Reliance Communications has partnered
with BIGFLIX to offer full length movies to all Reliance 3G subscribers at Rs
30/- per movie. This Video On Demand (VOD) service is available with no
data charges.

 

The operators said that the service is available across
the Reliance network nationally but for the best experience a 3G handset with
3G data connection is required.

 

Every movie lover will surely love to avail this service
as we are now the home for full length mobile movies and experience seamless
video on demand streaming through our superior 3G network,” said Kunal
Ramtekke, senior VP and head of Value Added Services (VAS) at Reliance
Communications.

 

In order to avail this service Reliance subscribers have
to log on to http://vod.rcom.co.in
using their Reliance Mobile. In addition to movie, Reliance customers can
also access free song videos, movie clips and short clips.

 

The company also claimed that it has been rated as one of
the best telecom operators in QOS by TRAI

 

  This partnership would enable millions of Reliance
3G users to watch the latest movies on the go without having to worry about
data charges. We firmly believe that with this partnership, BIGFLIX &
Reliance 3G would bring affordable movies experience to most widely available
mobile screen,” said Shreyash Sigtia, Business Head, Big Flicks.

 

Reliance Communications slashes 3G tariff

 

Recently, Reliance Communications has slashed its 3G
tariff, which allows it to expand its 3G subscriber base.

 

 Reliance now offers 1 GB 3G data for Rs 250 per
month and 2 GB of 3G data for Rs 450 per month.
