Reliance Com revenue dips due to CDMA migration to 4G

Telecom network operator Reliance Communications said its Q1 revenue reached Rs 5,361 crore (–3.8 percent) primarily due to shift of CDMA customers to 4G.

# ARPU at Rs 148, up 5.7 percent
# Data customers up 9.9 percent to 38.9 million
# 25.4 million 3G / 4G customers
# Data traffic of 102 billion MB, up 10.4 percent

Net profit of Reliance Communications was Rs 54 crore (+6.3 percent) in Q1 FY 2017.

Reliance Communications’ India operations revenue was Rs 4,693 crore (–2.5 percent).

Global operations revenue of Reliance Communications was Rs 1,185 crore (+5.3 percent).
