MTS appoints new chief operating officer for Andhra Pradesh telecom circle

Telecom Lead India: Sistema Shyam TeleServices (MTS
India) has appointed Aasheesh Verma as chief operating officer for Andhra
Pradesh telecom circle.

 

Aasheesh will be responsible for further stimulating the
business growth for the company in the circle and will be reporting directly to
Cheenu Seshadri, chief operating officer, South & West Regions – MTS India.

expanding its business at a fast pace. Andhra Pradesh is an important market
and I am looking forward to this new role in further strengthening MTS’
presence in the region by providing innovative business propositions to our
customers,” said Aasheesh Verma, COO, Andhra Pradesh Circle,
MTS India.

 

Aasheesh Verma possesses over two decades of expertise in
leading information technology and telecommunication companies.

 

Prior to his appointment at MTS, he was heading Telesales at Tata Teleservices
Ltd.  Aasheesh has also worked with Aksh Optifibre Ltd, HFCL Infotel Ltd,
InterPacket Group Inc, and Micrograpics India.

Facing competition from Reliance, MTS expands broadband network

 

In a bid to cement its position as a wireless broadband
provider, MTS recently launch its wireless data network in Gujarat, Kerala and
Andhra Pradesh.

 

MTS is expanding the wireless data network rapidly and
presently addresses over 92 percent of data potential across India.
