Lycamobile appoints Tech Mahindra veteran Ashutosh Sarkar as CIO

Lycamobile, the world’s largest mobile virtual network operator with over 15 million customers in 23 countries, announced the appointment of Tech Mahindra veteran Ashutosh Sarkar as its chief information officer (CIO).
Lycamobile MVNOAshutosh Sarkar will be responsible for driving IT strategy and its execution in support of operational growth and the company’s digital transformation. He will be instrumental in the ongoing evolution and streamlining of Lycamobile’s superior customer experience.

Ashutosh Sarkar has worked for global IT companies, including IBM, Oracle, C-Edge Technology and EnterpriseDB. In his most recent role, Ashutosh was vice president and head of Enterprise Business at Tech Mahindra.

Ashutosh Sarkar holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the renowned National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a postgraduate management degree from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta.
