KDDI revenue grows 6% to $45.89 billion with 31% EBITDA margin

KDDI revenue growthKDDI has posted operating revenue of 5,042 billion yen or $45.89 billion (+6.2 percent) with operating income of 962.8 billion yen (+5.5 percent) mainly due to increase in mobile communications revenues in fiscal 2017-18.

KDDI, a leading telecom operator in Japan, reported EBITDA of 1,560 billion yen (+2.4 percent) with EBITDA margin of 30.9 percent.

KDDI aims to achieve operating revenue of 5,150 billion yen (+2.1%) with an operating income of 1,020.0 billion yen (+5.9%) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019.

KDDI, which offers au branded post-paid and pre-paid services, did not reveal about the company’s Capex related investment programs.
