Idea launches Choice Number offer for new mobile users in Maharashtra & Goa

Idea Cellular has launched Choice Number offer for its new subscribers in Maharashtra & Goa.

The offer allows new users to opt for a number of their choice when they connect with the Idea network in the circle.

Idea, the country’s third largest telecom operator, has more than 1.65 crore subscribers in the Maharashtra circle.

The cellular operator also launched Choice Recharge for its subscribers in the region.

A single paper voucher of Rs 29 provides Idea users the option to choose from 5 different options as per their usage including 5500 Local Idea secs, 2600 Local Mob secs, 50 STD Mob mins, 380 Local/National SMS, and 190 MB 2G Internet.

Though the Choice Number service has been available on postpaid, this is the first time a telecom operator has launched it on prepaid across India.

The Aditya Birla group company Idea Cellular says Choice Number offers customized numbers like mobile number matching the users’ Birthday, or vehicle number, or a special James Bond 007, or any other special number or date of their preference.

“We realized that people have a personal attachment with their mobile number and it stays with them for a long time, and using this small insight launched Choice Number offering unlimited choices,” said Rajendra Chourasia, COO – Maharashtra & Goa, Idea Cellular.

Idea’s new Choice Recharge offer ensures that customers don’t run from one outlet to the other if a recharge is not available, instead they can buy Choice Recharge which addresses all their needs.

The Choice Recharge and Choice Number are available at all retail outlets across the circle.
