Idea Cellular adds 1,391 2G and 1,135 3G telecom sites in Q1 FY 2015

Indian telecom service provider Idea Cellular today said it has deployed 1,391 2G cell sites and 1,135 3G cell sites during the first quarter of fiscal 2014-15.

With this, the total number of 2G sites has increased to 106,169 from 104,778 and 3G sites to 22,516 from 21,381 in fiscal 2014.

Idea Cellular Capex for Q1 2014

Idea Cellular invested nearly INR 3,883 million (excluding forex fluctuation and capitalized interest of INR 1,311 million).

The Capex guidance for FY 2015 stands at INR 35 billion, excluding any spectrum related payments.
