GSMA Director General Anne Bouverot has decided to resign from the telecom industry association.
She will leave the organization to become the chair and CEO of Morpho, a vendor of security and identity solutions.
GSMA has kicked off a search process to identify a new director general. GSMA is expected to make an announcement on the new director general shortly.
“Anne has made impact during her tenure with the GSMA, building a stronger organization focused on our industry’s priorities and advocating on behalf of mobile operators across the globe,” said Jon Fredrik Baksaas, chairman of the GSMA and president and CEO of Telenor.
