Data-driven services continued to anchor Globe’s growth strategy. In 2025, data-related offerings spanning mobile data, home broadband, and enterprise connectivity accounted for 88 percent of consolidated service revenues, up from 86 percent in 2024, underscoring the company’s transformation into a digital-first telco.

Mobile Business Delivers All-Time High Revenues

Globe’s mobile segment posted another record year, generating ₱116.9 billion in service revenues in 2025, slightly higher than ₱116.7 billion in the previous year. Fourth-quarter mobile service revenues rose 5 percent sequentially to ₱30.7 billion, driven by sustained data consumption across both prepaid and postpaid customers.

By the end of 2025, Globe’s total mobile subscriber base expanded to 65.8 million, up 8 percent from 60.9 million in 2024. Mobile data revenues climbed to a new record of ₱101.2 billion, reflecting 4 percent year-on-year growth, supported by improved data monetization, wider 5G coverage, and increasing engagement in digital content, streaming, and cashless platforms.

Mobile data traffic reached 6,614 petabytes by year-end, up 4 percent compared with 2024. Top-up activity remained steady throughout the year, signaling consistent reload behavior across Globe’s prepaid brands. The mobile data user base grew to 39.2 million, up 5 percent year-on-year, with mobile data now contributing 87 percent of total mobile service revenues, compared with 83 percent in 2024.

Fiber-Led Broadband Strategy Gains Momentum

Globe At Home broadband generated ₱24.0 billion in revenues in 2025, up 1 percent from ₱23.8 billion a year earlier, as strong fiber adoption offset the continued decline in legacy fixed wireless services. Fourth-quarter broadband revenues were flat quarter-on-quarter at ₱6.1 billion.

Fiber services remained the key growth engine, with revenues rising 6 percent. The total fiber subscriber base increased by 43 percent, lifting Globe’s overall broadband subscribers to 2.1 million in 2025 from 1.7 million in 2024. Fiber now represents 91 percent of total home broadband revenues, up from 87 percent in the prior year, highlighting Globe’s fiber-first strategy.

GFiber Prepaid continued to gain traction, strengthening its position as the country’s fastest-growing prepaid fiber service. The GFiber Prepaid subscriber base surpassed 820 thousand by the end of 2025, reflecting Globe’s efforts to broaden access to high-speed home internet and reach more Filipino households.

Cost Discipline and Network Investments

Globe’s cost management initiatives delivered operational efficiencies, with total operating expenses and subsidies amounting to ₱77.5 billion in 2025, down 1 percent year-on-year.

Cash capital expenditures for the year totaled ₱46.2 billion, an 18 percent decline from ₱56.2 billion in 2024, in line with the company’s guidance of spending below US$1 billion. Capex represented 28 percent of service revenues, with around 90 percent allocated to data-related initiatives to strengthen connectivity and digital infrastructure nationwide.

During the year, Globe deployed 115,082 new fiber-to-the-home lines and rolled out 1,549 new 5G sites across key areas. By end-2025, Globe achieved over 98 percent outdoor population coverage in NCR and major cities in Visayas and Mindanao, while extending 5G services to 151 additional towns outside major metropolitan areas, where coverage now exceeds 80 percent.
