Globe Telecom claims to be a leader of broadband market Philippine

Telecom Lead Asia: Globe Telecom has claimed that its
flagship broadband brand Tattoo is dominating the Philippine market.

 

Tattoo grew by an average of 99 percent per year in
number of subscribers, and 82 percent per year in service revenues, according
to the company’s disclosure to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for
the period 2007-2011.

 

The company has said that its growth percent is higher
than the comparable average growth rates of its nearest competitor for the same
period.

performance have resonated well with consumers. With the network upgrades of
Globe in progressive roll-out, you can bet that Tattoo will become the brand of
choice for the best internet experience,” says Nikko Acosta, Consumer Broadband
Business Head of Globe Telecom.

 

Globe Telecom mobile broadband service outperforms two key
competing brands

 

Referring to a survey, Globe Telecom said that Tattoo
outperformed two key competing brands in the prepaid mobile broadband segment
in salient measures for speed and reliability.

 

The teleco said that it is modernizing its network to
increase the 3G nationwide coverage.

 

The $700-Million network modernization
program includes a ten-fold increase in data capacity, and the rollout of
an additional 10,000 kilometers of fiber optic cables to enhance internet
speeds and service reliability.

 

Globe Telecom eyes growth in postpaid business, offers
smartphone with affordable plans

 

Recently, Globe Telecom has expanded its line-up of
smartphone devices under its suite of unlimited data plans to augment growth
for its postpaid and mobile data businesses.
